Alpiq presents a new energy management portal for the first time

Xamax AG’s new energy management portal is called xenter.ch. In mid-September, the Alpiq subsidiary presented its innovation to the public for the first time. During Ineltec 2017, the Swiss industry’s meeting point for intelligent building technology, more than 200 potential customers were able to gain an insight into the portal’s benefits. The portal provides cost-effective access to detailed and intuitively understandable analyses of a wide range of measurement data, such as electricity, gas, water or district heating, as well as quantities, temperature, pressure or humidity. With just a few clicks, users can access flexibly configurable evaluations for a variety of organisational, production and building structures. The cloud-based software supports operational energy management by providing reports and evaluations that conform to the international DIN EN ISO 50’001 standard for energy management systems.

xenter.ch is already being used by WAGO

The new portal helps energy-intensive companies to reduce their electricity consumption and save costs. The product is geared toward companies from all sectors, from the food industry, through to banks and insurances and right through to the manufacturing industry. xenter.ch enables them to achieve cost savings of up to 20 percent. In the Swiss municipality of Domdidier, WAGO SA, the well-known supplier of electrical connection and automation technology, is already using the energy management portal. The company is applying the portal in connection with its own energy data management system. Customers can use xenter.ch to visualise their own PFC-200 controllers and receive pre-programmed energy reports. WAGO also presented this application possibility at the Ineltec exhibition.

Exhibition for intelligent building technology

In addition to its innovative portal, Xamax also presented a reactive power compensation system, load management and energy data monitoring systems and measuring technology for grid quality analyses. Overall, 282 exhibitors presented their technologies and innovations at the Ineltec 2017 exhibition. They demonstrated how buildings of the future can be equipped in a smart and sustainable manner. During the four days of the exhibition, almost 17,000 visitors gained insights into the building technology sector’s innovation power.
