A reliable look into the future

Alpiq Energy owns a wide variety of energy purchase rights and sales contracts for electricity, which vary widely from country to country. But how much electricity will Alpiq have at its disposal in future, if you add together all the sales and purchase contracts?

Our portfolio management uses specially developed software for trading and risk management to create accurate models of energy purchase and sales contracts. We use the findings to formulate physical trading recommendations for our customers, with the aim of building the foundations of a secure, low-cost supply of electricity that gives due consideration to all risks.

In Central and Eastern Europe we have our own resources and use tools developed to meet the specific needs of this region.
