Novel thermal power station
The 100 MWe Novel S.p.A. plant, located in the province of Novara, is the result of cooperation between Geogreen (49 % stake) and Alpiq (51% stake).
The power station provides electricity and steam to the chemical plant Radici Chimica. Alpiq Energia Italia S.p.A. sells surplus energy on the Italian market The power station was planned by STC Alpiq and constructed in cooperation with Colenco. Alpiq Produzione Italia Management S.r.l is responsible for its operation and maintenance.
The Novel power plant is ISO 14001 certified.
