In the competition for health-promoting companies, Alpiq Generation (CZ), previously ECK Generating, has won the top award in the category large-scale enterprises.

The National Institute for Public Health in Prague conducts the competition every year and the award is held for three years. Alpiq Generation (CZ) is this year the only energy company to be awarded the seal of approval "health-promoting company". "As far as we are concerned, workplace health promotion is one of the most important responsibilities that a company has to fulfil with respect to its employees. It influences their well-being, their job satisfaction and their performance", says Milan Prajzler, General Manager of the company.
